But my mind, though racing, can't place her, so I merely step up to her and say nothing.The woman smiles at me. She's moving her lips, but I can't hear her. I don't understand"I don't understand," I say, voicing my confusion, but she seems not to hear. She pauses, cocks her head to one side, and mouths one word.
